Description :
Inspired by the apartment’s layout and the clients’ love for deserts and ornithology, this renovation project is an invitation to softness and serenity.
Its concept draws from the double meaning of the word troglodyte — both a dwelling carved into rock and a discreet bird nesting in natural cavities — a duality that guided every architectural and decorative choice. The result is an interior shaped by organic forms, raw materials, and comforting textures, like a cozy nest.
Careful attention was paid to lighting, subtly brightening the darker areas and creating a warm, calming atmosphere throughout.
Environmental impact was a key concern, with a strong emphasis on reuse, upcycling, non-toxic materials, and collaboration with local artisans. The aesthetic remains minimalist and timeless.
The result: a space that is both functional and poetic, rooted in an ethical and sustainable approach.
